The CD has been years in the making, engineered by Rich Forziati who also joins us on a couple of songs on guitar.
Mixing was done by Brian Lee White from RxBx Music in California.
The CD was Mastered by Mike Wells at Mike Wells Mastering in California.
Guest artists abound.
First and foremost, Jack Pearson, an Allman Brothers alumni joins us on eight of the ten songs on the CD. Most of us know what a great guitar player Jack is; I mean that’s what he did with the Allman Brothers. Most people DON’T know, however, that Jack is a monster on the Hammond B3 (organ for those of us that are uninitiated!)! Jack plays B3 on eight of the 10 songs on the CD; he adds his guitar wizardry to seven of the eight! Jack has become quite a friend during the process. His work is absolutely astounding. Jack appears courtesy of Candlefly Records; he recorded in Nashville, TN at Bailey Sound.
Richie Cole, the world famous alto sax player. Richie was lead saxophonist with the Buddy Rich band way back when. He has since been all over the world popularizing his be-bop style of jazz on his alto sax. It’s nearly impossible to keep count of the records he’s on. Add one more ’cause now he’s on ours, too! Richie plays on Car Won’t Go Blues and Spinner. Richie was recorded in California by Lou Forestieri.
Linwood Taylor Linwood Taylor took time from his touring schedule with Joe Louis Walker to stop by and do a little recording. He’s featured on the song The Damage is Done. What a killer guitar player! Linwood recorded at NormT Recording Studios in Nashua, NH.
James Montgomery, blues harmonica legend, joins us on Set A Spell, an old-time blues song. James also recorded at NormT Recording Studios in Nashua, NH.
Norm Tiedemann II, plays acoustic guitar on Honesty and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet! Norm also recorded at NormT Recording.
Peter Previte, the unofficial 4th member of B Street Blues, joins us on piano on Monica and Car Won’t Go Blues. Peter recorded at NormT Recording Studios in Nashua, NH as well.
Pete Early, guitar guru, offers his talents up on two songs on the CD; Monica and Car Won’t Go Blues. Pete also recorded at NormT Recording Studios in Nashua, NH.
Rich Forziati, our recording engineer also particpates on guitar on two of the songs. Rich is featured on The Damage is Done and You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet. Rich recorded at NormT Recording Studios in Nashua.
